About Us

About Chichester Quakers

The Religious Society of Friends – more commonly known as Quakers, share a way of life, not a set of beliefs.

We seek to experience God or The Light directly (without the need for priests/ministers and rituals), within ourselves and in our relationships with others and the world around us. We share the core values of Truth, Equality, Simplicity, Peace and Sustainability.

Chichester Quakers meet regularly for Meeting for Worship, every Sunday morning at 10:30 for an hour followed by coffee. We also meet on the first Thursday of each month at 7.00 pm. If it is your first time at a Quaker Meeting please read here a personal view of a Quaker Meeting. We also suggest you try to arrive a little early as there will be people to talk to who will answer any of your questions.

All Children and Young People very welcome! For more details of our Children’s Meeting or to discuss a school or group visit please phone 07964 194725.

Companion dogs are warmly welcomed to the Meeting. But it would be appreciated if they kept noise to a minimum.

We have a lovely suntrap of a garden for times of quiet contemplation.
